. WELLINGTON, August 22. Talks between the national executive. of the New Zealand WateTsiders.' Union and the Minister of Labotir, Mr. McLagan, will be held on Wednesday. This was stated today by the secretary of the New Zealand Waterside Workers' Union, Mr. T. Hill, who declined to comment on Mr. McLagan V1 announcement today that the commission form of control had been resfored at all Dominion ports. "As far as we know this means that local administration is now functioning," said the seeretary of the Wellington braneh of the union, Mr. E. ANapier. He added that the norma] work of timekeeping and the functioqa of the port committees yre re being carried on and, of course, normal hopra were being worked.
