The managing-secretary, Mr. A. J. Phillipps, stated that in the past the patient 's and doctor's names and the patient 's religion, occupation and age had been included on cards although, he added, amidst laughter, the age was omitted in the women 's wards. Various churches asked that the patient 's religion be included to assist visiting clergymen. In future only the patient 's and doctor's names will be written on the card, other information being available at the bureau of information.
