Killed When Car Hits Train
CHRISTCHURCH, August 18. An elderly man was killed and a •woman injured wlien a car in which they were driving hit a train at the Factory Eoad level crossing at Belfast this morning: The mau killed was: — Mr JOHN DONALD McINNES, aged 67, a retired farmer, of Papanui. The injured woman was: — MRS 'MAEGARET SCHIMANSKI, aged about 50. of Papanui.
