After answering many interesting questions aske'd, the demonstrator was presented with a shomder spray and a gift in appreci'ation of her efforts. Competition winners were: — Best flower : ' Mrs. J. Mudge 1, Mrs. C. Walker 2. Best shrub: Mrs. H. T. Mould 1, Mrs. Walker 2. Pikelets: Mrs. Mou.d 1, Mrs. S. Brooks 2. Thrift artic^e: Mrs. Brooks 1, Mrs. W. Mathie 2."' Competitions for next. month will be flower, shrub, plate of scones and a eovered coat h'anger, while the hostesses will be Mesdames A. G. Allan, P. Adamson, P. H. B.ythe and F. W. BOx, and Misse's D. Avery and E. Brown. The serving of afternoon . tea concluded a most interesoing meeting.
