Erected Building And Then Sought Permit
How he had been asked for, a building permit for the erection of an additional stall at a racing stables, and had found on inspec--tion of the sive of the proposed alteratio'n that the stall 'had aheady been erected and a horse was actually in occupation, was reated by the Le\dn Borough' Council's building inspector, Mr. H. T. Tiiyard, at a meeting of 'the council on Mon'day night. The council refused to permit the issue of a permit in respect of the building. In regard to the future of the new addition, it was stated that the council had no authority to evoke a demolition order as that was the task of the Building Controller. Action wil', however, be taken against the owner of the stables and also the owner of* another stables nearby, in respect of a complaint regarding' an alleged nuisance being eaused through flies an'd odour.-
