Junior National Party Sees Debate In House
With the object of witnessing for the^mselves the working of Parliament and hearing debates by the -people's representatives, some 30 i members of the Levin Junior I National Party, led by their presi•dent, Mr. R. Denton, visited Wellington last- night, calling in on the House of Representatives. The party was met at the House, by the member for the district, Mr. J. J. Maher, M.P., and from the public galleries heard part of the debate on the report of the Sheep 1 Industries Commission. , At 9.30 the party proceeded to ithe National Party rooms in Feaitherston Street, where members were the guests of the Karori Junior National Party at a s >cial 'and dance, and 'a most enjoyab'e evening resulted. The party left for the retuim journey to Levin at 11.30 p.m.
