Received Tuesday 7 p.m. LONDON, August 9. Six of the New Zealand batsmen, Donnellv, Wallace, Rutcliffe, Scott, Reid, a'nd Hadiee, have now passed their 1000 runs on the present tour. Donnellv, with an average of 61.88 runs easilv lieads the^batting averages followed by Wallace 48.50, Sutcliffe 47.88, Reolt 42.55, Reid 41.40, and Hadiee 30.06. Burtt lieads the bowling averages with 21.60, followed by Burke 23.4 7, Cresswell 23.87, and Cowie 27.92. Burtt at the weekend, was the only oue of the New Zealand bowlers who had taken more than 100 wickets on the tuur.
