Progress With State House Building
Fifty State houses are being built in Levin this year, aceording to the Housirig Construetion Department. Last year 22 were built. Palmerston Nvrth at present has 125 houses being built, an increase of 26 on last year. , In Fei-'ding there are 25 State liouses under construetion. Last year there were only nine at this time. Foxton has only two State- houses now under construetion. Last year it had 33 at the same period. Bulls shows a decline. Last year seven were being built at the beginning of July. This year there are none at all, though some are expected soon. Otaki has 12 houses under construetion and had none at this ume last year. Shannon has six at present moment and only three last year. There are no State houses being built at Sanson. The same was the situation last year.
