— ♦ July was an unusually wet month in Levin, the rainfall being almbsfc This week the ladies' section of less than 8.31 inches were recorded, as against 4.39 -inches - in the same month last year, while there were 19 rainy days. Five frosts were registered during the month, the heaviest being six degrees on the morning of the 16th. ■For the first seven months of the year ended July 31 the aggregate rainfall was 29.08 inches. For the same period 'last year 27.51 inches were recorded. These figures have been supplied by -Mr. Howard Haryey, of Cambridge 'Street. /
