Received Tuesday, 9.35 a.m. LONDON, August 1. Yachts and'service vessels crowdine Yarmouth Harbour, on the Isle of Wight, were dressed in horioui' of the visit of Miss New Zealand (Miss Mary Woodward). Wearing a' hat and two-piece suit of soft istral blue, with white accessories, «he received an ovation from a Targe crowd on the common to watch her crown Miss Pamela Handerson/ aged 18," as carnival queen of the town. Unable to obtain an official New Zealand flasr. members of the committee made their own. This formcd the centre p'ece of a colourful background to the open-air platform.
