Most Generous Rainfall
Many who heard the rain pelting down throughout Wednesday night in seemingly ever-increasing volume, and many whose calling took them out of doors' during Thursday, when it rained all day, are well aware that the fall was very generous. Mr. F. H. Critchley advises that his recording for the 48 hours ending at 9.30 a.m. on Friday was 2.35 inches.
