Greyhound Club Meets
The monthly meeting of the Otaki Rahui Greyhound Club, helu during the week, saw members present in large numbers. Satisfaction was expressed at the very pleasing outcome of the initial race meeting arranged by the club. The president, Mr. F. J. Brunell, offered congratulations to all who .had so willingly helped, and to all who had made donations of tro-, .phies and material necessary for the smooth running of the meeting Mr. R. J. Taucher was nominated to the National Coursing Associa- ' t'ion's . council- of s'tipendiary stewards. Members agree'd that if the first meeting was any criterion, the club could look forward with confidence to further successes. At the commencement of the meeting members stood in silence as a mark of respect to the memory. of the late Mr. C. Gordon.
