"I wigh to make it quite clear that I wiT resist any attemp ts to weaken the Act or its administration, and in this I will have the backing of our who'e organisa'-ion. "The Act was put 011 the Statute Book at the request of the Farmers' Union to protect the farmers of Ihe Domini n. The protection they have from quack stock remedies is even greater than the protection which human beings enjoy in this country, and wre will not throw it away lightly.
