Received Tuesday, 7 p.m. ROME, July 12. Long distance television transmissions may soon becoime possible "by using the moon as a reflector from which waves will he bounced back to the earth. An Italian scientist, Signor Adelmo Landim, one-time assisfcant to Marconi, has been working on a "moonbeak" transmitter for the past 19 years since his discoveiy, while working on Marconi's yacht Electra in 1930, that short waves were being reflected in Europe from Rio de Janeiro.
