; T'he distrlct fiealth ; and sauitation inspector,,Mr. WiiJ, Guinan;'in his quarterly report to last week's meeting of the Shannon Borough Council, stated that there were no disease cases in the borough for the period. He had made .three visits to habitations and four to foodselling, premises, while six plumbing and drainage1 installations had been inspecte'd. Three requisitions were served. Two samples of milk, or.e of water and one of bu'tter were taken. The hotels had been inspected in connection with the annual licensing requirements. Inspections were made of several State house and private house drains in connection with waste water disposal. Several enquiries relative to installation . of septic tanks had received his attenUGii, while inspections were made of the various halls in connection with annual licensing. The council received the report.
