Prices up to 1100 guipeas were realised for Jersey catt'e imported direct from Jersey Island at a special sa'e at the Claudelands Showgrounds, the average for the 22 head sold being jus0s over 498 guineas. • Ten bubs averaged 521 guineas and 12 heifers 480 guineas. The attendance at the sale was the largest ever seen at a pedigree

catUe sale in the Dominion. Top price of 1100 guineas was given by Dr. G. Walker, of Whangarei, for a two-year-old heifer. The sale was conducted by Wright, Stephenson and Company on beha.f of 'the Country Gentlemen's Association, Jersey Island.
