Exciting Hockey Games Seen At Otaki
Two quite exciting ■ games of hockey were seen on the Otaki Doma'in on Saturday, when Rahui men for the second time defeated Te Horo, on this occasion by twogoais 'lo one, and Raukawa ladies defeated Rahui ladies by three goais to nil. The men's game was a first-class exhibition and was fast from start to flnish. Rahui were considered in some quarters to have been iucky to defeat Te Horo when they met earlier in the seaso-n, but the former showed that they are now a combination likely to prove a thorn in the side of any opposition. Goais for Rahui were netted by R. Eagle and R. Wind.ey, Jnr., and uor le Horo L. Shirnack scored. Raukawa held too msny guns for Rahui in the ladies' contest, ihe atter ccntaining quite a few first season p ayers. Here again both .eams gave creditable dispiays, .vith Rahui members inciined to
solo ell'orts. Wi h a litt'e more experience, there is sure to be an anpiovement, and should their -orwards and wingers c mbine more "Lliey too wil. go a long way. Goa s for Raukawa were netted by .Yiisse - O. King, R. Hakaraia and Borgia Hakaraia. '
