WELLINGTON, June 13. The British Rugby teain to tour New Zealand in 1950*, will have approximately a foxtnight in New Zealand before Mie first game. It will leave London by ship on April 7, 1950, on a 31-day trip co New Zealand. Tlie Australian Rugby. team touring Xew Zealand this year, will cross the Tasman by air on August 13 and 14. returning by air on September 26 anc 27. , The British team may open its tour at Xelsou, visit the West Coast and travel through the South Island before •oming nortli, said the chairman (Mr. A. St. O. Belcher) at tiro N.Z.R.F.U. executive meeting at Wellington today. He adiled that the tourists would probably have to return to the South Island t'or a test match." Mr. Belcher said tliaj the itinerary, however, would be a matter for the tours committee to prepare.
