Attempt To Derail Hirohito's Special Train
Received Tuesday 7 p,m. LONDON, June 13. The United Press Tokio correspondent says attempts to wreek a speciai train on which the Emperor was returning from a three weeks ' tour of Kyusliu, were discovered yesterday and on Saturday, according to .Japanese press reports which said rocks were placed on the railway tracks in tlie path of the train. The rocks were discovered b.v the erew of a pilot train runniug ahead of tlie Emperor 's speeiil. The poliee said they believed the obstructions were placed, on the tracks, in an attempt to wreek the train.
