Earlier this season the Border lost 3 — 6 to Eastern Province and. in view q£ the close result between the All Blayks and Eastern Province, the local side is very hopel'ul of success on Wednesday. Fullback, Snyman; threequarters, Geraghty, Geldenhuys, Johnstone, Saunders; halves, Yan Rensburg and Woodward;- froiit row, Smith, Alackenzie, Pretoiious; middle row, King, Brock, Gordon, Raath; back row, Ken yon. Nine of tlie Border teani took part iu the South African trials at Pretoria. Kenyon was included in the 32 Springbok possibles announced aftej' the Irials and is regarded as a iikely Springbok test 'captain. Because of the continued humiu weather, tlie All Blacks intend practis.ng late in the afternoous . instead of the mornings.
