Kia Rika and Jack McDonald, four former All Biacks now living in the Midlands, where 'they have been piaying League, together wLh the Maori singer, Inia le Wiata, who is studying in London, were invited by the BBC to give a 10-minute "surprise" programme on the television service to mark Empire Day. The four All Biacks perfoimed a very vigorous Maori haka, and Mr. Te Wiata sang the well-known-number, "Waiata Maori." Mr. Te Wia.a has once before appeared on te evision in England, but this was the first programme to be given ove rthe British television service by a New Zealand party.
