British Food Officials In Dominion
AUCKLAND, June 1. Two prominent seientists from Bri tain, both senior representatives of the . British Ministry of Food, arrived by flying boat from Sydney to visit New Zealand at the invitation of the Govern nient, and to study food production and technology. They are Dr. Norinan Wright, chief scientific adviser to thu British Ministry of Food, and Dr. Mau rice Ingram, senior principal scientific offlcer to the Ministry. The visitors who were met by Dr. ,J. C. Andrews, of Auckland, and Mr N. H. uaw, of Wellington, both representing the Department of Scientific and Indus crial Research, will spend about threweeks in New Zealand. They will ro turn to Australia to make similar stu dies, on June 23. "We have been invited to come ken. by the New Zealand Government to discuss problems of mutual interest in food production and food technology,' Mr Wright said.
