Denmark Ready To Supply More Butter
Reeeived Wednesday, 7 p.m. LONDON, June 1. A Danish delegation is in England to negotiate a long term butter con--tract between Denmark and Britain. A spokesman for the delegation said Danish production was rising steadily. Denmark could, make, a great contribution to Britain 's butter ration if givqn a long term contract at an economic price. There was no Teason why Denmark 's prewar production should not be !reached very soon , so long as the priee was right. There was every .indication that Denmark 's deliveries to Britain under the year's contract ending September, would be between 75,000 and 85,000 tons. The guaranteed minimum was 60,000 tons.
