Father Lynch to Stan ey Rayhond, youngest sort Of Mr. ahd Hfs. A. J. Gimblett, of Giadstoni S,pad. Levin. The ** organist was vlfs. Mac'dona'd. The bride, who Was esdofted* by oer father, Wore a gown'of French* n'ocaded satin tisstie wi.h, a silver shread. . The fitting bodice f-eatured^ a rourtd yoke of braided silk net, unished with a swathed shouldei iandeau, with long sleeves. The draped skirt was made with ruckea panels falling to form a train,.Hei ong embroidered veil was held in place with a coronet of orange o ossom and formed a secorid train, She also wore a t-riple Strifig Oi Ehglish pearls an*d carried a oouquet of pale tinted carnations nerines and chrysanthemUins made with a trail of the same flowers She was the recipient of tWo luckj horSe shoes, Miss Shirley Briggs, of Levin, was the chief bridesmaid- and she Was attired in a frock of .tose peta pink romaine, made with fi.ting shirred bodice and shirred shor s'eeves, the circu.ar skirt formipe a slight train. Her head dress was a ha" 6 of pink feathered fi wer ahd the short veil was in the same shade. Miss Edha Prier, of Shannon, the'- Other bridesmaid, Wore e frock of powder biue romaine made oh the same lines, with a head
dress of blue feathered flowers and a Short veil to match. Both wore triple strings cf pearls and elbowlength mittens. They carried' bouquets of rose pink chrysanthemums, tiny zinnlas ahd cactus dah'.ias, with autumn tinted leaves The church was beautiful'y decorated by the sisters of St Joseph's Convent ?n'd the reeePtion hall by friends of the bride. • The best man was Mt. Don camobell. of Ohau, a friend of the bridegroom, whiie the gfoomsman was Mr. Wflfred Gimblett, a brother of the bridegroom. The receptioh was held in the Weraroa Hall. where Mr. and Mrs. Perfect received theif gudsls. assisted by Mr. and Mrs. Gimb'ett. The bri-de's mothet wore a green ensemb'e. with hat to ipatch 2 nd accessories to tone, and a pink shoulder spray. Mrs. Gimblett was attired in a black ensemble, with 'blaek accessories, artd she wore a jpink shoulder spray, The toastmaster was Mr. O.-King, of Eixton. During the receotion, Miss Alison Joll sang two so'os. She wss accompanied by Miss Valma Coleman When the bride appeared bter for travelling, she was wearing a gold model frock under a brown coat,» with astrakan trimming and hat and" accessories to match. The liappy couple's future residence Will be in Levin, ^•' 'The beautiful three-tiered wedding cake was made by Mrs, Henderson, of Foxton (an aiint of the bride) , and was iced by Mr. A. C. Kennerley, of Levin. The happy coup'e received many beautifu and useful gifts, including several : cheques.
