Ruakawa Ladies Beat Rahui At Hockey
Owing to Rahui going on the defensive early in their game against Raukawa at Otaki on t Satm'day, the scores .were' more even than has been the case in most of the ladies' games recently. The tactics adopted saw mainly individual play, and numerous opportunities were lost, both sides suffering and play being patchy. The tactics niight have paid divi'dends with any luck, but unfortunatelv for Rahui their goalie, while defending hard, scored twice for the opposing team, two balls sliding into the net while she was attempting to clear them. , The remaining two goals for the victors were netted hy Mrs. B. Norrie and Miss R. H^karaia, and for Rahui Mrs. T. Rikihana an'd Miss N. Davis scored one each. 1
