Appeal To Watersiders To Kick Out Agitators
AUCKLAND, May 11. An appeal to the rank and file of watersiders to free their unions from agitators, was made today at the Associated Chambers of Commerce eonference by Mr. S. Hughson, of New Plymouth, a member of the exeentive. He said: An "impossible war" haa been waged by the transport conamittee against the slow turn round of ships. In view of the Cecil Sha'rpley revelations in the Australian and New Zealand press, he suggested an open letter to the watersiders from the conferen&e th rough the 'press.
