Sydney children who partiallf lcst their sight during the partial eclipse of the sun last December havb since become blind, despite all efforts to save them. Warning? about the danger of looking at the eclipse without eye protection were given by doctors beforehand. Warnings in New Zealand seem to have been heede'd, ds no tragic cases have been renosrted. "New Zealanders realise the dignity of labour and are prepared to do any land of wofk, regard'ess oi; their social status." That is the impression of Mr. M. Afjaruddin, a Pakistan graduate of Massey Agricultura1 College, who is returning home after studying in this country since 1946. He said that an important lesson ' Pakistan had to learn was that no work honestly done was low work. That was a lesson that could be learned from New Zealand.
