Fraser, pointed out that the council, had no reat moral obugation to spend a great deal of money on the bringe. The ratepayer* for whom il had been constructed had sold hjs land and the river board now ownea a portio'n. He was also of the opinion that if any work was done the load should be limite'd. The macter was referred to the works committee.
