SHANNON JUNIORS SCORE OVER WANDERERS

In the early match at the Shannon Domain Shannon juniors dis-j p ayed superior football in defeating Wanderers 'by 23 points to three. Shannon proved far too good for their opponents in all stages of the game. The home team's points came from six tries and one field goal. It is unfortunate that the Shannon team does not possess a good goal kicker. If one had been available on Saturday the score would have been much higher. Of the Shannon backs, Ted Peach was the most outstanding, his fast movements enabling him to score two good tries. The forwards all worked well, with B. Southee showing out at times.
