Crushed To Death By Tray Of Truck

WELLINGTON, April 22. A married man with three children, Mr Mervyn Hayston, of Lincoln Avenue, Lower Hutt, was killed instantiy in an accident in Buick Street, Petone, today. Air Hayston, who was a driver for a Petone carrying firm, was unloading bitumen. The tray of the truck was raised and while he was underneath it making some adjustment, it fell, crushing him between it and the truck chassis.
