Central Bowling Club Ends Its Season
The Easter weekend saw the close of the bowiing; season for Levin Central Club members, witn progressive nairs tournaments on Saturday and Monday. The top-dressing of the green is being proceeded with this week. The club has under consrderation the buflding, of a pavihon and members are invited to submit designs and suggestions. Finance is to be provided by means of inf er-ert-free debentures. The club has vacancies for from 25 to 30 members, and those eonsidering taking up this most fascinating game should contact the secretary, Mr. K. A. Bowater. All club championship competitions have reached finality and the results are: — Senior fours: W. Braid, O. Hudson, W. Seddon, W. G. Clark (s) ; runners-up: C. Walker, G. Sweetman, C. Bennett, H. Bowater (s). Senior pairs: S. Small, W. G. C'ark fs); runners-up: F. Fletcher, K. A. Bowater (s). Senior sing'es: K. A. Bowater; runner-up: W. Braid.
