Ohau Now Has Indoor Bowling Club
Following out its po'icy of promoting the game/ of indoor bowls throughout the Horowhenua. the Levin Indoor Bowling Club recently visited Ohau and staged a demonstration there. The resu't was a decision by the interested parLies in Ohau to form a club of their own and it will commence operations as soon as the necessary equipment comes to hand. The Levin Club has already made several visits to nearby towns and hopes ultimately to form an association. The following oflicers were elected for the newly-formed club: — President: Mr. J. G. Horn; vicepresidents: Messrs R. G. Wall. E. Hr gg, E. Peterson, W. Gwynn and E. Findsen; secretary: Mr. J. O., Woolf; commit.ee: Mesdames F. Fanning, R. F. Carew, J. Guerin atul E. Pilgrini and Messrs C.
Greenwood, J. Bowling, J. Horn, T. George, H. Saint, P. Drake and T. Weihipeihana. Subscripticns were1 flxed for foundation members at the rate of £2 for the first four years or at the rate of 15s per year.
