Kuku Wins Junior Cricket
The conelusion of the cricket season in the district s°aw Kuku win the junior competition. The close finish between Kuku and Otaki caused a great deal of interest and the winning team deserve its victory, for this was its first season in the competition. Given below are the final points for the senior and junior competitions. Senior Shannon 96, Weraroa 94, Levin 66, Old Boys 62, Foxton 51, Paraparaumu 42, Otaki 33, College 27. Junior: Kuku 78, Otaki 77. College A 61, College B 29, Foxton 24.
