AUCKLAND, April 19. Turned out of offiee almost completeJv a year ago, Oommunists and otker Leftwingers will attempt to regain lost ground at the annual election of officers of the Auckland Trades Council on Thursday night. Delegates were reported today to be "keyed up" and it is expected that about 190 will attend the meeting. The election is looked upon as a forer.unner to a similar struggle for control of the parent organisation, the Xew Zealand Federation of Labour, which will take place at the annual eont'erence beginning in Wellington on Alav 17.
