Found Dead With Clothes Burned

NEW PLYAfOUTH, April 19. An elderly woman was found dead at her home at New Plymouth today, with her clothes almost completely burned and the chair in which she was sitting badly charred. She was: — MRS. EAfAIA FRASER, aged 65, a widow. f^he was seated in tl& kitchen in front of a lighted range when found. It is thought possible that a fire was started by a cigarette but investigations today had not shown whether she. died from the recurrenee of a stroke or from injuries when her clothes caught fire.
