Selecting Displaced Persons For New Zealand
, WELLINGTON, April 20. The selection of displaced persons for emigration to New Zealand from Germany is expected to be completed by the end of the month, said an official of the immigration division of the Department of Labour and Employment, today. He was commenting on a cable message reporting that a three-man commission, headed by Mr. L. E. Ellison, had begun choosing the displaced persons in the British zone. „ A report is awaited from Mr. J. V. Brennan, chief migration officer at New Zealand House, London.
