Additional Fire Escape For Theatre
The works committee recommend to the Otaki Borough Council on Wednesday night that another exit staircase from the theatre dress circle be installed 011 the eastern side of the theatre following a request from the Otaki Volunteer Fire Brigade that the existing staircase be looked into. Discussion revealed that the present escape had been erected in accordance with regulations, and the controlling authority is to be asked to give his opinion on the matter.
