Organisation of American States, sau, the disrupting forces at work in the world divided nations and peoples ai.,. turned individuals against each othei even in the same country and the saim community, whi-le the other forces drew peoples and nations together irn a eommon endeavour and harmonised th. interests of individuals. He said there was an interestiiim •oiitact in the fact that the free peoph were willing to share their privilege* and preroga-tives with others, whiltthe repressed people held aloof, sus pected the motives of those who offere.i rt'iedship and aid, and shrank from nopposed coope.rative aetion. "We can see clearly wliich of these attitudes is normal and healthy and which is abnormal and morbid, " he said.
