Bells To Herald Opening Of Mission

Reeeived Tuesdav,-7 p.m. LONDON, April 12.

All cliurches in London possessing a peal of bells, have been asked by Dr. Wand, Bishop of London, to see that they are rung hetween 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on May 14. This is to°be a signal to the people that the Mission to London, which has been a year in preparation, has begun. It is to be on a scale never hitherto attempted. The Bishop will be the cliief missioner and 150 others from all parts of the British Isles, have been appointod to operate from 120 centres. Tlie mission will open with a procession of witness at St. Paul's Cathedral on f\fay 14 and close with a service in Westminster Abbey on !May 29.
