Received Thursday, 8.10 p.m. SYDNEY, April 7. Tho eight crew membprs of a four ongined Laneastrian airliner of Qanta* Empire Airwavs. had a narrow escape from death when the plane erashed on landing at Dubbo Airport this afternoon and was completely dostroved bv fire.4 None of the crew was injitred and there were no passengers. The plane was landing after a train ing flight wlien it overshot the runway, The pilot, Captain .f. G. Morton, swung it into a ground loop to avoid hitting a fence. Under the strain of the manoeuvre the undercaTriage eollapsed and the wing petrol tanlcs Imrst. As the crew scrambled elear the plane quiekly beeame a mass of flames. i
