Personal Mr. and Mrs. D. Kendrick, of Otaki Railway, have left to spend a short holiday .in Hastings. Mr. and Mrs. _ E. P. Edwards, Junr., of Tasman Beach, have left !on" a holiday to places of interest in the North. The death took place in Carterton last week of Mrs. Helena Penelope Lloyd, wife of Mr. W. A. Kempton and mother of Mrs. L. Walsh, of Matene Street, Otaki. Mrs. A. E. Capewell, of Bell Street, after 33 years in Otaki, is leaving shortly to take up residence In Te Aroha. 'She will be accompanied by her younger daughter, Jocelyn. Fire Board Meeting. The quarterly and annual meetings of the Otaki Fire Board will be held on Wednesday, April 27: -
