By-EIection Candidates Now Total Seven Three additional nominations, bringing the totaj to seven, have been received by1 the "town clerk, Mr. H. L. Jenkins, for the two vacant seats on the Levin Borough Council, a by-election for which is to be held on April 27. The election follows the resignations of Messrs F. D. Chainey and D. . J. Gardiner. The three latest candidates are Messrs. R. S.„Antcliff, E, Tomlinson and N. Thornley. Mr. Antcliff -is nominated by Messrs J. Miller and R. A. Frederikson, Mr. Tomlinson by Messrs F. D. Chainey and C. H. Nelson and Mr. Thornley by Messrs D. J. Sweetzer and J. W. Lynch. The contestants nominated earlier are Messrs. A. W. Parton, F. Croot, L. V. Trass and W. Seddon. Nominations finally close with the town clerk at noon tomorrow.
