It had been considered that two rows of piles in a straight line down the centre of the excavation would allow three series of three mounds to be put into operation. The scouts would assist with a certain amount of material and labour, but a sum of money would have to be found and labour given by the club, replied the president, Mr. M. deL. Wright. It was poinfced out by Mr. Fletcher that the hall would helong to the council and would be leased in perpetuity at a nominal sum. He suggested that if finance was needed, then the club shorid raise it by means of debentures among its own members. These could be redeemed by ballot.
