The new street in- the block of State houses under construction in Winchester Street is to be pamed Goldsmith Crescent in memory of the late Mr. P. W. The suggestion was made by ' Cr. R. A. Frederikson, who said he understood that in his early days in Levin the late Mr. Goldsmith had resided in that locality. "It is a very nice suggestion," commented the Mayor, Mr. H. B. Burd8kin. "It will perpetuate the memory of one who did a great deal for Levin over a long period of years."
