On The Range At Hautere
Members of the Hautere Defence Rifle Club shot for the final of the Champion Belt series over 900 yards last Saturday, when shooting proved rather difficult under very windy conditions. The following scores were obtained off the rifle:— F. Freeman 47, L. ' E Monk 43, H. A. Lumsden 41, F. H. Monk 41, N. S. Monk 41, B. F. Monk 38, C. Cobb 37, C. Strom 36, F. -Rowe 36, B. Geange 35, T. Empson 33, V. Cottle 32, J. Clark 32, H. 'S. Tayior 32, R. J. Meagher 27 and R. iL. Monk 26.
