Croquet Players Finalise Season's Matches
The -members of the Levin Croquet Club have been active over the past week finalising the season's matches. All matches had to be completed by today and no further competitions will be played this season. Brown Button matches played recently have resulted as follows: Mesdames Dalzell and Powlell beat Mesdames Mason and Holdaway 26-21, and also Mesdames Palmer and Bull 26-13. In the Lett Brooches competition, Mesdames' Fraser and Mason beat j Mesdames Pine and! Mudgway 2617. The holders of the Worsfold. Badges, Mesdames Pine and Bull,'1 successfully defended a challenge from; Mesdames Fraser and Holdaway, beating them 26-21. '(L
