Communists Could Take All China At Will
Received Wednesday, 10.50 a.m. WASHINGTON, March 22. Major-General David Barr, head of the United States Military Advisory Board in -China, told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee today that the Chifiese Communists could take over all of China whenever they wished. He said that the Communist armies were surprised' 'by their own rapid' advances and d'id not move south of t'h-e Yangtse because they did not want to take the administrative responsibility for all -China at present. General Barr said that the Chinese people were weary of the war and had- little will to resist the Communists. ,
