Specialists' Salaries Under British Health Scheme

Received Thursday, 11 a.m. LONDON, March 16. _ The proposed tef ms ahd cohditions 'Of service under the national health scheme offer full-time specialists up to £5250 yearly, with equal pay for men and women throughout England, Wales and Scotland, according to the Minister of Health, Mr. Aneurin Bevan. The' minimum basic salary for such specialists would be £2750, plus distinction awards r'anging from £500 to £2500. About four per cent of all the specialists in the service would receive the highest distinction award.
