Thousands Of Drivers Attend Stopwork Meeting
AUCKLAND, March 17. Thousands of drivers streamed into Carlaw Park today for the biggest stopwork meeting of the Drivers' Union ever held in Auckland. Reporters were not admitted, but it is understood that the meeting decided by a substantial majority to lift the boycott imposed on certain firms. This is understood to mean the drivers will resume delivery of all goods.
