British Charges Of Treaty Violations

Received Thursday, 9.5 a.m. LONDON, March 16. The Minister of State, Mx. Hector McNeil, in the House of Commons, accused Bulgaria, Rumania and1 Hungary of flagrant violations of the peace treaties. . Mr. McNeil said that "with Soviet connivance, and t-hen with Soviet support," these countries had obstructed British and United States attempts to set in action the treaty machinery to ensure the proper fulfilment of their obligations. He added that Rumania and. Bulgaria had both violated the military clauses. Hungary was planning to expand her military forces beyond Ihe permitted treaty strength.
